Z-5R Net is a network controller designed for use in both online and offline access control systems. It is intended for managing electromagnetic and electromechanical locks, as well as turnstiles (requires two Z-5R Net controllers for turnstile control). The controller includes built-in power management functionality and is easy to install and maintain.
The Z-5R Net controller can be connected to a PC via USB or through an Ethernet/Internet network using Z-397 Guard USB/RS-485 (or USB/RS-485/RS-422) or Z-397 Web converters. This enables the creation of a complete networked access control system with support for time tracking, event monitoring, and report generation via software solutions.
The controller supports connection of:
two readers;
a reader and an exit button;
an electromagnetic or electromechanical lock;
an external buzzer;
an external LED;
a door status sensor.
