“Top Up Balance” Button
The “Top Up Balance” button in GuardSaaS lets you add funds to any account. It is also useful if you previously used a fixed-fee plan.
Because you pay as you go, it’s a safe choice when you don’t yet know the final size of your system—you can keep adding new controllers and cards whenever you need.
Billing Basics
GuardSaaS bills in credits—virtual units that reflect the volume of services consumed. Credit price and discount rates depend on the country and currency you selected at registration.
How it works
- Service fees are deducted from your account every day for the previous day’s usage.
- If your balance turns negative, GuardSaaS continues to run but with limited features: you won’t be able to view reports or change hardware settings (e.g., assign or delete access cards).
- Full functionality returns as soon as you top up the balance.
How to top up your balance
- Open Dashboard → Account to see your current balance.
- Click Make Payment.
- Choose a payment amount (up to 200 credits). Any discounts and the total will already be converted into your local currency, or you can enter a custom amount.
- Confirm the amount, select your preferred payment method, and follow the payment-gateway instructions. When the transaction is complete, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
Why it matters
The “Top Up Balance” button is essential for uninterrupted operation and full access to every feature of the GuardSaaS cloud access-control system.
You can also share credits with other accounts later via the Share Balance button in your dashboard.
