✅ Step 1: Purchase the Required Hardware
To use the GuardSaaS system, you need to acquire compatible hardware.
Note: GuardSaaS is currently compatible only with access control equipment produced by Iron Logic.
- Visit the Iron Logic website for detailed specifications.
- Contact your local Iron Logic representative for:
- Recommendations on equipment configuration
- Site-specific installation guidance
Minimum Hardware Requirement:
- 1 × Z397-Web Converter to connect controllers to the GuardSaaS cloud.
Hardware Limitations:
- One Z397-Web Converter supports up to 16 controllers
- System supports up to 2,000 access cards (due to controller memory limits)
Recommended Configuration:
- Up to 16 converters per system
- Up to 16 controllers per converter
- Up to 1,000 employees
- Up to 2,000 access cards
✅ Step 2: Register Your GuardSaaS Account
To begin using the cloud platform, create an account:
- Open the GuardSaaS registration page.
- Fill in the registration form:
- Name or Company Name
- Password
- Accept the Terms and Conditions by checking the box.
- Click Register
- Check your email inbox and confirm your account by clicking the verification link.
After registration, use your email and password to log in to the system.
✅ Step 3: Connect Your Equipment
Once logged into your GuardSaaS account:
- Navigate to the “Hardware” section.
- Click “Add new converter”.
- Enter the serial number (found on the converter housing).
- Enter the initial password (included with the device).
For security, change this password after setup. - Click “Register”.
If everything is connected properly, the converter will appear in the list.
Activating Controllers:
- Click “Details” on the converter.
- The system will automatically detect connected controllers.
- Click “Connect” in the controller section to activate them.
If successful, the controller and converter indicators will turn green, indicating the system is ready to use.
